Dara Carney was introduced to the makeup industry at the turn of the century. With a desire to pursue her artistic creativity, she discovered a talent for the art of makeup. Her appreciation for individual expression is demonstrated through a sincere desire to assist her clients, and enhance their own unique self expression.

Having been exposed, the passion grew for a career within the industry. Desiring more, she attended Inner Beauty Academy where she received her professional certification in the art of makeup. There she trained under one of Virginia's foremost artists, known for her work within MAC, Lancome, Estee Lauder, People Magazine, and fashion shows across the country. Working hand in hand with her mentor, she learned cutting edge techniques while focusing on airbrush technology, body art, glamour, fantasy, period makeup, and black and white versus color photography and bridal make up.
